ABOUT ME

Picture
From humble beginnings in a small town, to US Army Combat Veteran, and now first generation college graduate, I live my life by a few simple rules:
  • Integrity Always
  • Help Others in Need
  • Pay it Forward
As a recent MA graduate of the University of Arizona, I am now employed in private industry. Through my experience, I have been able apply my academic knowledge within a framework that is both good for business and society. Please see my selected work page and contact me if you believe we can collaborate. Thank you for visiting my website!

My research lies at the nexus of soil and plant relationships, starting at the organismal scale, then applying those relationships to large landscapes. More specifically, I am interested in semi-arid and arid lands, with a focus on soil-plant water and carbon movement. Interdisciplinary questions are at the heart of my research methods, drawing upon all fields of the physical sciences. My associations include the USDA-ARS, Biosphere 2, and the CZO research group.

EQUIPMENT

To address today's questions, a variety of techniques must be employed. I work with a variety of machines across multiple disciplines to holistically study natural systems, especially those that are within semi-arid and arid lands.
